• The demand on the book: released orders with quantities and due dates, loads booked, picks expected
• Your capacity: work centers or trucks, hours per shift, standard run rates or drops per route
• Your people: skills and licenses, contracted hours, availability, holiday booked, pay rates
• The cost target: labor as a share of revenue, a weekly budget, or a cost per hour

How you might ask
